Hello! 👋 Welcome to my little corner of the internet. I’ll be sharing some of my favourite projects that I’ve worked on here. Some are for my day job and some are just for fun, but the throughline is the same: I’m at my happiest when I’m making things.
Transplant
I grew up in Surrey, but in 2010 I moved up north to study Drama & Screen Studies at the University of Manchester. I immediately fell in love with the city, and I’ve lived here ever since. I got my first job at the uni right after graduating, working as a videographer for the Faculty of Life Sciences.
Timecode starts at zero once the clapper is closed.
On Set
My next job was at Red Production Company where I worked as their first Online Producer, revamping their online brand and developing their digital marketing content strategy from scratch. I also completely digitised and streamlined Red’s script development workflow, tapping into my bizarre love of spreadsheets and complex nested folder systems.
Public Sector
I started getting really interested in working in the public sector, and in 2019 I started a new job as a Senior Communications Officer for Manchester City CouncilAll views my own.. I wear a lot of hats in the role, and no two days are the same. It can be hectic sometimes but I love telling stories about local government, and I especially love working for the city I call home.
Hobbyist
From the first time I used a computer, I’ve held a burning passion for kinda just generally messing around with them. I pulled this website together with some of my favourite tools, and lately I’ve been hacking together my own small software projects. In my free time I’m also a runner, baker, guitarist, writer, and burrito enthusiast 🌯
